What Is Version 3.0?
Version 3.0 is a free update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It makes your island even better. You can build a resort hotel. Make dream islands with friends. Clean up your island fast. The best new thing is the Resort Hotel. It’s at the end of your pier. Kapp’n and his family run it. Kapp’n is the turtle boat guy from old games. His family got new looks. Cool!
How to Build and Use the Hotel?
Tom Nook asks you to help. You decorate rooms for guests. Each room has a fun theme. Like beach or cozy. Use furniture you have. Guests love it!
Tourists visit your island. They walk around. Shop at Nook’s Cranny. Go to the museum. Talk to them. Invite them to stay.
Scan amiibo cards or figures. Bring special friends to the hotel. Like villagers from other games.
Dress up mannequins in the lobby. Guests borrow clothes. Match your island style.
Hotel Tickets and Souvenirs
Finish rooms? Get Hotel Tickets! Trade them at Grams’ shop. Buy special items. Like rare toys.
Make DIY items for Tom Nook. He sends them far away. More tickets! Grow your hotel’s fame.

Slumber Islands – Dream Fun!
Sleep in bed. Pick “slumber time.” Luna takes you to Slumber Island. It’s a dream world!
Make Your Dream Island
Pick small, medium, or big. Up to three islands. Terraform cliffs and rivers. Add bridges. Set time and weather. Sunny day? Night sky? You choose.
Use items from your catalog. No need to gather stuff. Invite villagers. They live there!
With friends online? Build together. Needs Nintendo Switch Online. Switch 2 lets 12 players play!

Resetti’s Reset Service – Clean Up Easy
Mr. Resetti is back! He pops up to help clean. Pick whole island, beach, or spot. He removes flowers, items, trees.
Want to keep stuff? He puts in storage. No trash!
